With over three decades of dedicated service to Knox County's emergency response community, Fire Chief Jeffrey Devlin brings unmatched experience and leadership to Rural Metro Fire Knox County. Promoted to chief in 2024 after serving as interim chief and five years as deputy chief of operations, Jeff leads one of Tennessee's most respected fire and emergency services organizations.

The E215 is a 2025 E-ONE VM8 pumper built on a rugged Spartan chassis and powered by a 450hp Cummins engine. It features a 1,500 GPM Hale fire pump paired with a 1,000-gallon onboard water tank — giving our Knox County firefighters the capacity, reliability, and flow capability needed to respond quickly and effectively to structure fires, vehicle fires, and emergency calls across our service area.
